Basketball
Another exciting regular season of Centennial Conference basketball is in the books, and it’s been predictably unpredictable. A wide-open league has been winnowed down to the top 5 but without a clear-cut favorite, this year is unquestionably the most difficult in recent memory to handicap while making make post-season predictions. However, that won’t serve as an impediment once again this season, as I recap the year that was, while previewing the post-season field once again.
This year has been a perfect embodiment of everything that makes this conference great: upstart underdogs, historic milestones, freshmen phenoms, and versant veterans ... the 2015-16 season has marked some of the most compelling competition I have seen to date. Though the playoffs certainly have some heavy favorites, there could (and should) be some tremendous upset opportunities that make the tournament, once again, must-see basketball.
